Gyaruo (ギャル男, ギャルオ), sometimes written as Gyaru-o, is the term used for the male counterpart of Gyaru. Just like female gyaru, Gyaruo have just as many substyles which fall under an equivalent of each female style of gyaru.
Gyaruo can be tanned or not, and if not following a particular substyle, usually fall under a general style of having styled bleached hair, and wearing clubwear or fashionable clothing.
