The Gyaru Wiki

Rules of The Gyaru Wiki:

If you are interested in contributing to the Gyaru Wiki or posting/commenting, please make sure to follow these rules so we can keep the Wiki safe, reliable and educational! The Wiki is checked up on regularly along with the history of pages, so please keep that in mind! A heavily consistent breaking of these rules will result in a ban.

Rules for Editing/Adding a page:

  • Please give credits/sources when possible. Such as linking a gyaru's blog or socials if using information from there
  • Please keep a neutral opinion when editing. We do not need to know your thoughts on what you're writing about, as it could count as misinformation.
  • Please only post facts that you can back up and have researched. Fact checking is essential to make sure everything is accurate.
  • Please do not copy exactly from websites/sources unless you have gained permission to do so, and also give direct credits.
  • Please make sure everything is up-to-date. For example do not change an inactive gyarusa to active, or write about the current heisei trends when it is reiwa now.
  • Please make sure the information you have is consistent and agreed on. For example, Ganguro is consistently written and talked about as starting in the late 1990s.
  • Please don't write anything negative about any gyaru/o. For example, Barbie from Black Diamond has been accused of multiple separate things which are just rumors, and we don't want to see the accusations on her page.

Rules for Posting/Commenting/Discussions:

  • Please do not be hateful towards others in anyway.
  • You are allowed to have discussions and express other views/opinions as long as all sides are respectful.
  • Please feel free to help someone out with questions, and you are also allowed to post questions too.
  • Anything NSFW will be immediately deleted.
  • Links are allowed to be posted but please be careful to make sure these are safe. (Along with self-promo)
  • Any other basic online safety rules.
