Tsuyome (強め) coming from 'Tsuyo' (strong), is a popular gyaru substyle,
Tsuyome is a broad term to describe strong, extreme makeup, with a similar fashion style to Banba.[1] Many gyaru sub-styles can sometimes be described as Tsuyome. The aim of Tsuyome is to have a flashy style and makeup, similar to the idea of Haaady; Tsuyome also has a large focus on having a bold, sexy and cool style in general. Tsuyome has some of the more commonly seen fashion with cheetah/leopard print accessories or clothing with brown or black clothes.

- Long eyelashes and dramatic eye makeup
- Light to medium tan, but not required
- Similar to Banba and Rokku clothing style
- Light lipstick, but never white
- Long, decorated nails
- Focus on leopard print clothing
- Leg warmers (usually black)

- Crimped/curled hair
- Bleached hair (can have dark roots)
